Stay and relax in this elegant guest house of your dreams, located in Berdoues in the Gers. In the beautiful foothills of the Pyrenees lies this old Gascon farmhouse of character, surrounded by 3.5 hectares of organic farmland with grazing horses. The long driveway flanked by rustic, century-old oak trees and the welcoming house exude an atmosphere of peace and security. The gite is located in one of the wings of this farmhouse construted around 1500.
This great garden room is located on the left side of the house with its own entrance and part of the garden.
It consists of a salon/bedroom and sleeps 4 in the same room, with 1 double bed (1.60 x 2.10) and a comfortable sofa bed (1.30 x 1.90), ideal for children and has a separate bathroom with shower and toilet. There is a fully equipped kitchen with a large rustic dining room table and 6 chairs. Kitchen equipment consists of refrigerator, dish washer, small electric oven, microwave oven, and a 4-pit gas tabletop stove for cooking. The washing machine is shared with us (wash is done at night at 4 € per load on request). This cozy and originally decorated family room has a covered veranda with garden furniture and barbecue.
Baby bed can be added. For the chilly nights we have installed a lovely wood burning stove (wood is charged separately) or you can use the electrical heater (extra charge of 25 € for electricity).
Basic rates per night
Basic rate is €110 € per night for 2 people. Extra bed or baby bed is €15 per night. Cleaning fee is €75 per stay or €25 € per week (change of linen on request). Linen for beds, towels for bathroom and kitchen are supplied. Beds are made upon arrival. Please bring your own towels for the pool! In case you forget, we can supply " foutas" during your stay for use at the pool.
Tourist tax/Taxe de séjour €0.80 per night per person older than 13.
Free in-room WIFI, coffee & tea service, welcome packet. A delicious breakfast of mostly local and organic products, can be served upon request for €10 per person per night in your kitchen or on your terrace. Closed from mid-October until mid-April.
